Nutella Berry Smoothie!

First off, I have to admit that this probably isn't the healthiest smoothie out there. It sure as heck was one of the yummiest though!

Hubs has decided to do a smoothie for lunch as a meal replacement. I'm a firm believer in supporting my family, so I told him I would do it with him as long as the lesser calories didn't start to negatively effect my boob juice supply. Gotta keep the milk supply up and all. (Now don't get your panties in a twist, Bean isn't fully participating. She gets some smoothie to suck down, but she also gets a full lunch too.) I told my husband as long as he was healthy about this, and not starving himself or his body in anyway then I don't see a problem with it. I've also gotten him to agree to start taking a daily multivitamin (I'm still taking prenatal since I'm nursing -- My pedi says it's not necessary, but I feel better doing it and I get less headaches when I take the prenatals.) so at least I know he's covered in that aspect. Lots of side notes in this post so far..

Today marked the first day of this smoothie expedition. Here's the recipe for the smoothie I made..
Ingredients
3/4 cup of ice
1 cup frozen mixed berries (mine had strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
1/2 cup of quick oats
1 tablespoon of honey
1/3 cup Nutella
1 cup milk

Blend those bad boys together until smooth! Serve immediately, and enjoy instantly!

Bean devoured it!

  5. Boob juice, lol, that's funny! Your lil' bean is a cutie. This smoothie sounds interesting. I have never tried nutella. I'm not sure if I would like it or not. I'm a peanut butter kind of gal personally. Maybe I'll try it sometime though.
