Peanut Butter Honey Banana Oatmeal Cookies

These are the BEST cookies I've made in a while. So moist, so sweet, and there are no eggs, so you can eat it raw! Yesss!! Everyone in the family has been stealing them off the cookie plate. Seriously, these are ah-mazing! You should go make them right now!

3 tablespoons peanut butter (I used creamy)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon water
1/4 cup mashed banana (about half a banana, mash it up with a fork!)
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cups instant oats
pinch of salt
1/4 tspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 350f. Combine all your wet ingredients (peanut butter, oil, honey, water, banana) in a large bowl, then add in the brown sugar. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients (flours, oats salt, baking soda). Slowly mix dry ingredients into the wet. Place a spoonful of dough on a greased cookie sheet, place each cookie about an inch apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let them cool a little once finished, then remove them to a cooling rack to finish. Enjoy!

I will admit that we ate them warm, and it was really good. Melt in your mouth good! Feel free to add chopped almonds, or chocolate chips, or even raisins, dates, apple pieces! Mmmm apple pieces... Don't forget to pin this idea! :)

  1. These look awesome! thanks for sharing!

  2. what a great idea to add honey to the recipe - i can't wait to give these a try, mar! i'm pining them to my cookie board :)

  3. Is there a way to make these gluten free?

  4. I love these cookies but am wondering whether you use a 15ml or 20ml tablespoon?
