Fun With Learning Colors

I LOVE saving trash. Wait, what?! Yup, you read that right. Trash. I saved an empty orange juice plastic bottle, it's now turned into a bath tub toy. I save old toilet paper rolls, mod podge fabric onto them, and turn them into toys. Most recently I've saved empty puff containers. The big tall tower looking ones. Bean just finished three different flavors, so I have three empty containers! Whoo!! One with a purple top, one with a yellow top, and the last has a green top. So what do I do with those? Turn them into toys! Learning toys! Hurray!!

This was super easy to do, Bean loved it, and we got to work on her learning colors some more in a fun environment! All I did was put toys, blocks, whatever would fit with the corresponding color. Then as she was taking/shaking toys out, and putting them back in we practiced saying the colors, and matching them. Theeennnnn it turned into trying to shove everything she could into the bottles, but whatever. It was fun, and we both enjoyed being able to play together.
