Play Dough Balloons

Remember a month ago when I made Play Dough for Bean to play with? Well, it's still good. We've kept it in zip lock bags and had it as air tight as we could get it. So yesterday, I decided to reuse it for a new type of sensory play!

You know those stress relievers that you can squeeze and pinch, punch and toss? Well, this is basically that. All you need to do is shove play dough into the bulbous part of a deflated balloon, and take out as much air as possible, then knot the tail of the balloon. Done! Easy, peasy.

Bean loves playing with them! Apparently they felt really good on her teething gums. I tried to send one with my husband when he went to work too, no dice.

  1. I love this idea! My 20 month old is teething as well, so this might help him with that. Thanks for sharing :)
